Boise Airport is located 3 miles south of Boise, Idaho. BOI is the busiest airport in the state of Idaho, with an estimated 2.6 million passengers, serving more passengers than all other Idaho airports combined, and 10 times as many as Idaho's 2nd busiest airport. Boise airport is served by major and low cost carriers offering non-stop flights to cities primarily in the Western and Midwestern regions of the US with worldwide connections. In 2016 BOI was awarded Best Retail program and Best Food and Beverage program in the small airport category.
