Los Angeles International airport is located 15 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles. LAX is the largest and busiest airport in the greater Los Angeles area and in the state of California. In 2016, LAX handled over 80 million passengers, making it the worlds 4th busiest airport by passenger traffic. With 9 passenger terminals, Los Angeles International offers non stop service to 101 domestic and 85 international destinations in North America, South America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
